Hi there!
I’m Julia Kaczorowska. I’ve been working in photography for years, but what fascinates me most about it is still the same thing: meeting another person. I graduated in Press, Advertising and Publishing Photography from the University of Warsaw, which shaped my documentary, photojournalistic way of seeing.
People say I work invisibly, like a ninja! I love observing and catching what happens between people – but I also know that on your wedding day you sometimes need someone who will help you catch your breath and show you what comes next.
Julia
In private I’m a bit of a travel addict: as soon as I’m back from one trip, I’m already planning the next. I recharge by hiking in the mountains. I love animals, especially cats. I have a little son, whose birth made me even more sensitive to other people. Professionally, I look at photography not only as a photographer but also as an editor: I write for one of the biggest Polish photography websites.

Over 10 years of experience - photography and support
My bachelor’s and master’s degrees in photography gave me not only technical skill, but also an awareness of image, narrative and cultural context. That’s why I combine artistic sensitivity with a documentary, journalistic approach: I observe rather than direct, I respond rather than interfere.
When you look for a wedding photographer, you are really looking for more than someone with a camera. You want someone who will stay calm when things don’t go exactly to plan – and who knows that’s perfectly fine. For a photographer on that day there is one very important word: flexibility.
Over 10 years of wedding photography have taught me that anything can happen on the day: family tensions, a sudden change in the weather, small and not-so-small crises. My role is not only to create a beautiful keepsake, but also to be real support – someone who knows when to step in and when to simply give you space. I’m the person who, if needed, will put out the fire – and make sure the ashes look good in the frame.
A photography duo
For years White Balance was made up of two people: Julia and Kasia. It all started back at university, with joint projects and a shared way of seeing photography, which over time naturally carried over into wedding photojournalism. Today White Balance is my own brand, run by me, Julia Kaczorowska. In the 2026 and 2027 seasons Kasia is taking a break from photographing weddings, but if you’d like a photography duo – that’s still possible.
I work with trusted photographers whose style is consistent with mine, so I can also offer you the option of “me, Julia + a second photographer”. Just let me know if you’d like an extra pair of eyes 🙂
Wedding film
How about a wedding film? White Balance is also Filip, who can capture your Day in motion. Moving away from lengthy, tiring films that run over an hour, we offer a short “music video” style film and a 20-minute wedding film. Filip works discreetly – he doesn’t interfere with the ceremony or direct your Day. Very importantly, our whole team works well together – we don’t compete for the best shots, we support each other and know how to literally “get out of each other’s way” when needed.

I graduated from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in New Media, specialising in Animation. I’ve been into film “forever” – name a title and I’ve probably seen it. That passion lets me approach your wedding film not only in terms of the “must-have shots”, but also details, the play of light and colour. Day to day I work in the video game industry, in a role that also involves working with a camera. Sounds intriguing, right? 🙂
