Family sessions – photographing relationships
I have a feeling that mums in particular spend their children’s entire childhood on the other side of the camera. They’re the ones taking photos on holidays, walks, birthdays and ordinary everyday moments. Then it turns out that everyone is in the family albums – except them.
I would love it if, years from now, no child ever had to ask:
“Mum, why aren’t you in any of the photos?”
Because you are part of this story just as much as everyone else. Maybe even more than anyone. And that’s exactly why it’s worth sometimes letting someone else take care of capturing those memories 🙂
Here you’ll find a few selected frames and full stories from my family and maternity sessions. Only that – and yet that much – because over the years there have been many more. More and more often, though, parents decide to keep photos of their children to themselves rather than share them publicly online, so I mostly show new sessions privately, on request and with the families’ consent.
If you’d like to see more of our family sessions, including the most recent ones – just write to us, and we’ll share them with you privately🤍

See what other families say about me

Marta – maternity session
Thank you for the gorgeous photos!!! It’s amazing how you managed to capture so many beautiful moments! And all in such a lovely atmosphere – even after the session we were saying how comfortable we felt, it was just a really nice morning. And it really shows in the photos. You truly know how to make people relax in front of the camera :)) I’m lost for words, sooo happy we managed to organise this session.

Wondering about something?
What should we wear for a family session?
Whatever you feel good in! Prepare a few options, without big prints or logos. You don’t need to be dressed identically (unless you want to) – it’s enough if your colours complement each other. If you’re unsure, write to me – I’m happy to advise.
What if my child has a rough night / gets sick?
It happens and I understand – it’s not the end of the world. Get in touch and we’ll reschedule (if a studio session is cancelled, you’ll only need to cover the studio fee).
I don’t know when my child will nap, so I don’t know what time to book?
For a home or outdoor session, let’s agree on a rough time frame – we can set the exact time the day before and confirm it on the morning of the session.
Can I feed my baby during the shoot?
Of course – and you don’t need to warn me or go to another room. It’s natural. If you’d like, I’ll photograph it. If not, I’ll put the camera down and wait.
How long does a home or outdoor session last?
As long as you need. The base is about 2 hours, but if your child needs a break, a feed or a nap – I’m in no hurry. I’m there with you and I have time; any extension is free of charge.
I’d love a session at home, but I don’t have time for a thorough clean…
Believe me, I completely understand. Please don’t clean up for show 🙂 I care about your real home, not a showroom. You can throw all the extra clutter into one room, and if anything else needs moving, we’ll do it together on the spot.
What if my child is fussy or cries?
We don’t rush and we don’t stress. We wait, cuddle, and try again. And I know how to win older kids over to the camera 🙂
Any other questions? Just write to me. That’s what I’m here for 🙂
Family and maternity sessions in Warsaw and the surrounding area
If the thought of a family photo session makes you picture forced smiles, unhappy kids and a partner asking every five minutes whether it’s over yet – relax. That’s not how I work.
I’ve been photographing families for years and I know that most people stand in front of a camera only a few times in their lives. At the start I often hear that someone doesn’t like having their photo taken, can’t pose, or that the kids definitely won’t cooperate. And then it turns out that all it takes is the right atmosphere, and everyone simply starts being themselves. That’s what I care about, and that’s what I want to catch on camera.
My goal isn’t just to put you in perfect light and tell you to look into the lens. Sure, sometimes I’ll give you tips on where to stand so it’s flattering, but I’m much more interested in how you hug your child, how you hold hands on a walk, or how your little one shows me their favourite toy. These are the moments that most often turn out to be the most precious years later.
A natural family session – no pretending
I don’t expect children to sit nicely and smile whenever I ask. Honestly, that would even be a bit boring. Kids can be shy, have their moods, and need time to get used to a new situation. Or quite the opposite – they’re full of energy, bold, and poke their little fingers into the lens. Sometimes they run around, sometimes they get cross, sometimes they cry. And that’s truly not a problem for me.
As parents you often worry about these things far more than I do. For me it’s simply part of family life. I don’t come to photograph a perfect version of your family. I photograph you as you are. Because you also want to remember the real you, not a version created by a photographer.
Family sessions with babies
Since becoming a mum myself, I understand the value of family photos even more. At the same time, I’ve learned how little all the plans we make before leaving the house have to do with reality.
That’s why I always allow plenty of time for a session. If your baby needs feeding, changing or a nap, we’ll simply work around it. I won’t be nervously checking the clock or rushing you because your little one decided to fall asleep right now.
I know very well that sometimes a nap matters more than photos. And paradoxically, precisely because we don’t try to control everything, the session goes more calmly and ends with better photographs.
A maternity session you’ll come back to for years
Pregnancy often seems to drag on forever, and then suddenly it turns out it went by in the blink of an eye.
That’s why I treat maternity sessions more as a record of a stage of life than a photo production. You don’t need several dresses, professional make-up or any experience in front of the camera.
In a few years you probably won’t remember what you were wearing. But you will remember the anticipation, the emotions and the excitement before a new family member arrived.
Without photos, you’ll forget it sooner than you think
I feel that parenthood is made up of thousands of small moments that seem completely ordinary at the time. Another walk. Another cuddle. Another time falling asleep on your shoulder.
And then suddenly your child no longer fits in the crook of your arm, no longer speaks their funny little language, and doesn’t fall asleep the way they did just a few months ago.
That’s exactly why I believe so strongly in family photographs. Not because they show what we looked like. More because they remind us what our life looked like.
If you feel it’s the right moment to hold on to a piece of your story, I’d be very happy to meet you.
